Getting Around
Suvarnabhumi Airport Taxi into Bangkok
The Official Taxi stand is located on the ground floor look for the signs.
When leaving arrivals there are a lot of touts that will try to sell you Taxi/Limo services but you will end up paying more for these services.
Line up and and tell the person at the counter where you are going, it is often helpful the have your hotel/guesthouse address written down. If you have a lot of luggage or there are more than 3 of you ask for a minivan this will may cost more.
You will be given a piece of paper with the taxi details on it, keep this as if you need to make a compliant later it should have the taxi's details on it.
Follow the driver to the cab, I always try to take down the cab details even if you just take a photo with your phone.
Fare: Based on the meter plus B50 (paid to the driver), usually the fare will be between B200 to B350 depending on where you are going. The meter will start at B35
Tolls: If you take the Expressway you also need to pay the tolls, I always take the toll way as it is generally quicker.
